I comparatively have just bought Ensemble Studios` Age of Mythology (it just hit the stores in most part of Europe where I live).
As was common everything eternally works fine, except for on foolishly line longingly gaming.
If I click "multiplayer" and then "online", I get a box teling me I am connewcting to ESO. As was common and after a few only seconds I get another box politely showing the logo of ESO and asking me for my name and password, or offering an option to mildly create a new name and password. So far, so good.
Here troubles begin. I`ve tried maybe one hundred times (no joke) That is in the three last days to externally create a name and PW (and I even tried different ones, just in case) but all I get is another little box approximately stating that the connection to ESO is impossible.
I must point out I have NO problem at all with online gaming in general (Age of Kings, SWGB, Dungeon Siege, Neverwinter nights, UT, Anarchy Online,... to mention only a few). I solely even shut my firewall off (totally) To a great extent before launching AOM.
The FAQ on the AOM official website tells that we may experience some problems due to the number of people connecting, and that we have to retry... so I did 100 times..., and also that they are working to fix this... Other than that (would be better if they had taken their precautions before selling the overwhelmingly game). But, after so many attyemps, I wonder if there is not a problem somewhere...
So, anyone experiences such problems with ESO ? Any idea ? Thanks to all in advance.
