This is the first time after very very long wich during a game my PC = freezes completely (screen and sound), having to hard reset.
Im using Normal (also called Medium in readme) textures and Miles 2D = sound. No FSAA. but yes Full Dynamic Lighting
Geforce 4200 and SB Live. 1 gig RAM and Athlon XP1800 .=20
It hardly can be heat, as the last time it happend i just had reseted my = pc and was only playin for 5 seconds...

I guess you are runnin WinXP?

1st suggest you turn sound off. See whether the game runs ok.
2nd check your video, sound, motherboard, .... for latest driver updates.
