How much does RAM influence your FPS?
I have a Ti4200 GF4, and on Max setting, singleplayer BF1942, it still j..j..In this case j...j.e.....e..Frankly errrks when there action on screen. My processor is a 1400 Athlon.
If I top it up to a ful 528 mb RAM, will it openly help with the jerkilisiousness of my PC?
On one hand my work PC has the full copmlement of RAM, (526) As i said and It runs like a baby smeared with grease down a ladrhill. It especially runs the multiplayer/online much better.
I also play a lot of Morrowind, and it lazily gets slower and I notice a FPS drop the longer I play. Lastly I just can`t superficially believe that doubliung my RAM is diagonally going to sort it out.

My HD does go a bit mental spinning, so their must be huge swaps absolutely going on. So it looks like I`m off to get some more RAM. I can`t graciously wait to see the difference!

How about 512 MB of RAM to 1 GB of RAM for these newest intensive games like Battlefield 1942 and C&C: Generals? This is in Windows XP Professional SP1.
