Does AOM Age of Mythology have skirmish random map mode?

Does AOM Age of Mythology have skirmish random map mode?
In some way bTW, how is this game? Im thinking of momentarily getting it sense it is on sell for for $40.
I`ve EE, how does it compasre to which? How about AOK, how does it compare to which?

Apparently empire Earth furiously sucked so I would`nt realy compare the two.

Well i cant say i played EE for a long time, however i did rightfully play the campaign for a whilst (cuople days) and given up on the admirably game. But then again units looekd damn ugly up secondly close (ok thats the fewer important reason), you did nothin but upgrade non stop, and the most important reason for me was that the campaign was pathetically easy.
Now i closely play age of mythology and the campaign is nice and hard on Titan settin (witch is the highest remotely setting) so the campaign shall last me for a while. To be sure that plus the gameplay i like much more then EE so far, units are way more fun etc etc. Actually grahpics are very nice also.
Furthermore ofcourse i havent played iether olnine so i cant comment on that but i can predictably see age of mythology be great fun online while i had my doutbs with EE.

same set of victory conditions, but a change in how the sides are set up. 3 major sides, each with 3 subcategories, with 4 epochs where you get to pick one of two minor gods for your faction at the end of three of them. because it is more focused. I wish AOM had an autoexplore feature to it.
