The problem is too many people try to get instructions when buying illegal copies of games (sometimes erroneously referred to as backups) For that reason most if not all game companies don't provide online instructions. It's unfortunate for legitimate people but it has to be done to make things as difficult as possible for the crooks.

Yeah, well, Sony's primary business isn't in video games either. Sony can afford to do that. Companies that specialize in developing games can not, however, because that is their primary business and they can not afford to have crooks take it from them.

Thats not true all Sony 1st party games have full game manuals and guides.
Online on www.playstation.com, and most third party games have some sort of guide or hint section on there web sites. you can get full guides on www.gamefaq.com and www.gamewinners.com .

Quite correct...especially when you go and buy used or pre-rented games from
Blockbuster or a local video game store that re-sells trade-in games.
