I need help remebering a title of a pc game i use to play

well i remeber playing an old game my dad found it had to do with history and i want to play that game again.but from what i remeber you had to go through the ages like B.C to like modern age where you get to built stuff like missils and bombs and stuff and you trying to make you your enemy dont attack you
you can play as the aztecs or incas or something like that. so please if somebody knows the title please tell me i want to get it again =) thank you
