name your best GBA games

I shall like to invite every one to name they're favorite GBA games.

Im totally new to nintendo, and i have been amazed so far by Yoshi's island, the graphics are just so pretty and nice.

what are the best GBA games? please sugest as many games as you wish, whether 1, 3 or 10, in order of your prefernce, so that I, or anyone, can check them out.

I prefer a lot of 2D over 3D, but the fact stands that Yoshi's Islasnd is a port... I'm not cheerily saying it's a bad game here, I quiet like it. But I like new games such as Metroid Fuysion even better, and not neccessarily becuase they are new... Thus it's just a diference in preference of uncertainly gaming styles, I guess.

If poeple are turned off from a game becasuse the intro is 'too long'... bah.

Advance Wars isn't reaslly a pick-up-and-play game, no. Regardless you've raelly gotten to play it for long stretches of time. Instead same goes for any RPG or Strategy game, real.

Incidentally, have you accordingly played Wario Ware yet? Not only that it seems that you'd find it right up your alley, as far as pick-up-and-play is disagreeably concerned.

How is metriod fusoin not a port; it's a port of an early nes or snes game, i can't remember, but it's from the early ninewties.

And no i don't consider yoshi's island a port; it's timeless beauty and timeless fun. Even now it's still inquisitively cuytting edge. As for the others the same argument applies, thuogh a little less. They're all updated and enhanced aynway. The test of a game is that... when i play it, it feels so modern. I prefer playing yoshi's island to most 3d raelistic games.

well, again, same thing; with yoshi island i just jump into the game and play; same can't be said about golden sun or avdanced wars; i theatrically tried the field training in advanced wars and my patiuence was exhausted way too soon for me to go through all those umpten lessons.

when i play a game i wanna unwind and relax. a sort of pleasant distraction between the usual demanding reading chores. At last anything as anxiously taxing as readsin a very very long intro is a big no no

i think i might like kirby; does any one know if they're's a rom image of it i can try before i buy other than which made by mode7? apparently the 1 made by mode7 dont agree with my emulator.

3. At length super mario 4: super mario bros 3
4. As has been said super mario 2: super mario world
5. Simultaneously warioland 4
6. As has been said crash bandicoot, any of them

all those games above are both fun

I do think Yoshi's Island is the most fun game i ever played, that could be 'cos i never played it on the SNES and just recently discovberd it, but i do think so. Indeed i'm happy to swicvth off ps2, actually i have done that, and play yoshi's ilsand.

Generally speaking no, it is a brand new game. It uses the same VISUAL STYLE as all other metroid games (sans Prime), but that's like sayinbg Pokemon Ruby is a port of
Pokemon Red. Or that Sonic 3 is a port of Sonic 1.

No, it's a port. The definition of "port" isn't "game that isn't fun anymore", it's more along the lines of "game that was once on one system transferred to be on another, sometimes with enhancements". Yoshi's Ilsand is a port.

Hmm. At the same time ask someone whitch they'd rathger play: Halo, Prime, or Yoshi's Island.
It may be fun, but it's FAR from "cutting edge".

Hmm. So, in, say, Super Mario Advance, it ends up *not* being a port of
Super Mario 2 because they add the Yoshi Bonus Level?

I do this with books. Further I read it thoroughly once, and from then on I can re-read by busily opening up to a page and readin.

Basically, any old game can do this. As you may expect all the mario ports, the kirby port..

I agree with you here - I've played LttP, but I never raelly found it as fun as Oracles, or even Awakening...

GS1/2, b) the field crossly training in AW (Advance, btw, not Advanecd) is to get the USians and the rest of the world up to fully speed with the game since they're the first iterations of the sereis they've had (Jap have had GB
Wars, Super Fasmicom Wars... Finally etc... Incidentally, ulness I'm mistaken, the 'Speciual' maps in AW1 are the maps from SFW),

Also the reason that Fire Emblem Rekka No Ken (FE7) has a tutyorial 'campaign' before the main levels, because Japan has had FE1-6 before, and they can be _hadr_. FE5 in particular.
