is it even worth the trouble of getting an adapter for ps2 if i only have
56k connection? how is the lag with 56k?

$30-$50 a month for broadband? HA! Try more like $50-$80 a month once you toss in all hidden fees,taxes and surcharges.
Definately not worth if you're *NOT* into online gaming and maybe not even then if you are once you figure in all the cheating and other garbage assoicated with the online gaming crowd.

includes all of my phone services, (voice mail, caller ID , etc..). I just assumed that all the phone companies were the same I have SBC.
My phone bill actually went down when I upgraded to DSL.

NO!!! you do have more lag on slow connections, But the Ping number is what determines lag. Tony hawk 4 is ok on dial up but hosting is out of the question. if your ping is higher than 200 you will problem loose your connection allot.
Get Broad band its almost as cheap as dial up.

And what world do you live in where broadband is almost as cheap as dial up.
Dial up is $10-15 and broadband is $30-50. That's 1 new game ever 1-2 months.
