I currently own a PAL (european) Ps2 and im wanting to play some NTSC (american) games that wont be released in Europe (Xenosaga, .Hack 1

You have to chip. A no-solder chip and Swap Magic-type disk is supposed to work for some games, but it's nowhere near as reliable as a chip. Alternatively, get a US PS2, I wish I had done...

unfortunately there's no other way other than modding ur ps2......i suggest u go mod it...but make sure after u mod it, you can direct boot EVERY disc (original

I recently bought swap magic and a slide tool for the purpose of playing
Winning Eleven 7 and it works a treat. No opening up of the PS2 required therefore your warranty is till intact.

I went to the site you recommended. Cannot find any boot disc that converts NTSE to PAL. I have a PAl systema and want to play NTSC games.

whats the difference between NTSC and PAL? i know all my games are ntsc is it like a region?
