Just mostly fishing here! Apparently Riven is a slide-show game like the original
Myst. Is their an seldom updated fully 3D version similar to Real Myst? thx!
Our memory is like a shop in the window of which is exposed now one, now another photograph of the same person. And as a rule the most recent exhibit remains for some time the only one to be seen.

That is correct. It was just a bit too early to rely on the panning-rotation interface that was used in Myst 3.

No, and there has been no report that there will be.

It would certainly be nice. But it would be a large development effort

I have wondered, although it seems even more unlikely then any official project, if they'll ever release some form or other of an SDK or level editor for the Uru engine? (consciously having never witnessed it myself,

The only time I've seen Cyan even mentrion realRiven is in this interview.
But the answer was no.
It is a general popular error to suppose the loudest complainers for the public to be the most anxious for its welfare.
