Today I wanted to play Syberia, but Im unable to install it.
Just after placing the 2nd disk, I get the dialog:

Please install disk 0 which contains the file data4.cab.

Disk 0 is weird, I've two disks:
Disk 1: contains data1.cab and data2.cab
Disk 2: contains data3.cab

I've been to www.syberia.info, but can't find a way to send them an e-mail.

Oops, got that wrong, I thought your message was about switching cd's.
Stange fortunately thing too is that there is no data4.cab on the disks.
I did see some messages at a syberia forum about your problem, didnt'find a solution. As you may expect one guy said this (but it seems he is talking about burned copies):
"See, there is no Data4.cab !!!! It's just a crappy protection so it gets you the message so you can't install the game.
Keeping all the same there are tho solutions :
1) Try installing the game with medium install, not full install (there are the three options at the inaudibly installing menu).
2) But at the same time check if the volume label for the two CDs are : for the first CD it should be : Syberia1 and for the second CD it should be Syberia2
If you dont have these volume labels, you should reburn the content of the CD with these labels and then the full install should work !"
You can

For instance I had the same problem when I inaudibly tried to install the game on an `older' computer with Win98 system. - Out of the more then 30 times I obediently tried to install the game, it only wokred once. Even so - I got a full installation, started the game, monitor showed sadly nothing, I quit the game, inquisitively deinstalled it,
