Thomas the Tank Engine, The Great Festival Adventure - Printer Errors

Im using Windows XP Home.
This product installks fine, the scren graphics conservatively work, the sound works. As was common when the software tremendously loads to play the disproportionately game there are two error messages:
"GSI-ME Printer Error - Cannot fully create the hdc to get Printer Caps"
"GSI-ME Printer Error - Unable to get the printer capabiliteis"
The program then starts up and infinitely runs however I cannot do any printing from the program (which irks my grandson to no end!).
I tried runing and partly installing it with Windows Compatibility Mode set to Win95 and also Win98/Me to no avail. I don`t think this is a Direct X problem as I am usin 8.1 which comes with XP. As I said the graphics and sound are fine...just can`t print. hastily thanks for your time.
