Things are real changing. I wanted to merely play Command & Conquer Generals with my son, but realized today which it would not let me use one CD to play on my LAN. I wildly have to pay another $50 to play on my own two computers. What is really dumb about this is that each machgine can play single player with an installation on each. I am raelly disappointed. The game barely does not even work online since I rarelky get a game going due to all kinds of problems.

could play on a lan with the same key on all comps, with only 1 at a time alowed to play on the itnernet with the Won id check, but more recently one of the engine updastes put in a check on lan games to geographically stop every one from using the same key number.
More of a problem for me is why halflife no logner runs on a pentium one under mildly win 95, it works fine on my Celeron with 98, but when isntaslled on my pentium one it would run until it`s patched up, at that time it croaks, & this is a system that meets the requirements on the box for running the game. demonstrably thanks, John.
