Trying To Play No One Lives Forever 2, But Can’t Hear Any Voices Or Action Noises? Try This!

Are you trying to play No One Lives Forever 2 on a computer with windows 7 operating system and are having problems getting voice or action noise? If so, know that what you are experiencing is a very common issue and can easily be fixed!

To fix the game so that you get the voices and action noise (and not just the background music) try this:

1. Address the Sound Issues

  1. Click on the “Start Menu”
  2. Go to the Control Panel
  3. Go to the “Hardware and Sound” option
  4. Click on “Sound”
  5. Right-click on the “Speakers” (with a green check sign)
  6. Select the option to “Configure Speakers”
  7. Set your audio channels to “Stereo/2.1″ (if it’s on 5.1, 7.1, etc.)
  8. Keep clicking the “Next” button until you get to “Finish”
  9. Now, try running the game again

If the problem with the sound still persists, try setting your audio channels to different settings (Quadraphonic, 5.1, 7.1, etc.).

2. Addressing the Patch/Update Issue

You can download the NOLF 2 1.2 and 1.3 patches here:

So... what do you think? Please leave me a comment.

  • Vale: Why are there so many problems with the sound? What if changing the speaker settings still doesn’t work?
  • Lloyd: I think it’s because most games requires different type of speaker settings. And if changing the speakers doesn’t work, you might need to update your audio/sound drivers, or, get your speakers check for malfunctions.
  • Vale: I didn’t realize that different games had different speaker settings! Do you have to change anything internally on the computer - a sound card or something, or can you just download an update?
